Rachel Holowicki is the founder of Brain Waves Educational Psychology. She specializes in helping children facing challenges such as ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, and anxiety. She has worked as a Developmental Therapist, School Psychologist, and Licensed Educational Psychologist in Illinois and California. Rachel is dedicated to ensuring that each student receives the tailored support they need to thrive academically and emotionally. Her expertise extends to addressing the needs of gifted learners, ensuring they receive appropriate accommodations and enrichment opportunities. Rachel is currently pursuing continuing education to become a Diplomat in School Neuropsychology.

Dr. Ali Duerks is a passionate advocate for student success with over 15 years of experience in the world of education. Throughout her career, she has served as a school psychologist, educational psychologist, and special education administrator. This unique blend of expertise allows her to navigate the special education process and support students and their families. Dr. Duerks is from Argentina originally and is a native Spanish speaker who can assess students in both Spanish and English.

Jasmin Loza is a bilingual Licensed Educational Psychologist with over 12 years of experience working in various roles supporting at-risk and special needs students. She specializes in psychoeducational evaluations for adolescents and young adults, focusing on autism, ADHD, learning disabilities such as dyslexia, and more. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Jasmin has also conducted mental health evaluations for adolescents with special needs, ensuring parents feel fully guided throughout the process. A lifelong learner, she is currently pursuing her PhD in psychology with a specialization in counseling.

Fluent in English and Farsi, Samira takes a strengths-based approach, emphasizing the importance of understanding not only the challenges students face but also their unique abilities. She specializes in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, providing executive functioning coaching, and delivering counseling services tailored to each student’s needs. Samira is passionate about empowering students to overcome obstacles and thrive in their educational journeys.
