Psychoeducational Testing for Children in Pacifica and the Bay Area
A complete picture of how your child learns, thinks, and feels.
A comprehensive assessment of cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional strengths and needs. We combine standardized tests with observations and interviews to create a detailed road map for learning, and to inform conversations about IEP and 504 eligibility.
Our evaluations go beyond scores. We take time to understand your child as a whole person, reviewing school records, gathering input from teachers and caregivers, and observing how your child approaches tasks across cognitive, academic, attentional, and social-emotional domains. The result is a clear, strengths-based report with concrete, actionable recommendations you can bring to your school and care team.

What a psychoeducational evaluation measures
A psychoeducational evaluation looks at how a child learns, not just what they have learned. Cognitive measures describe reasoning, memory, and processing speed. Academic measures show where reading, writing, and math skills sit relative to age and grade expectations. Social-emotional and behavioral measures capture attention, anxiety, regulation, and how your child experiences school. Together they answer a practical question: why is school going the way it is for this particular child?
The psychoeducational testing we provide is completed by licensed educational psychologists (LEP) in Pacifica and is written for the people who will use it. That means a plain-language explanation of each finding, your child's strengths stated as clearly as the needs, and specific recommendations for instruction, accommodations, and home support that families can share with their school team.
